bird’s-eye-view

So, a different composition but it is a flower arrangement that uses some of the thistles I used in a previous image.

I’m enjoying the background colours of this more than my previous two drawings. Not too sure about the shadows but they get the job done, adding a bit of depth to the image. I am in love with the greenery that I drew, I think that turned out so well, (a little triumph as Prue Leith would say, for all those British Bake-off fans out there.)

I think I love/hate drawing roses. They come out looking really cool but man are there so many layers that it takes forever to draw.

But practice makes perfect and I feel like I learn something every time I do a drawing, whether that is a new feature on Photoshop or discovering a better, more efficient way of doing things.

Everyday is a school day, as they say.
